Consignment FAQs

Welcome to Greg Morris Cards Consignments!  We take cards from collectors of all sizes and list them for auction on eBay.

We are one of eBay's top sellers in the United States across all categories.  We have 100% positive feedback, with more than 225,000 individual feedbacks.  We list about 2,000 auctions per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.  Consignors can trust that on our eBay store, they will get top value for their auctions. You can view our store here.

Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions:

What are your rates?

Our commission is 25 percent of the final listing values, plus 50 cents for each card that sells for less than $10.

Where do you list consigned cards?

Currently all consigned cards are listed on our eBay store only, exclusively for auction.

What types of cards are consigned with you?

We currently accept consignments of vintage or modern sports cards of all types.

Who consigns with you?

We are proud to provide a consignment service for collectors of all sizes and levels of expertise.  We are often contacted by families who wish to sell collections of vintage or modern sports cards on behalf of loved ones.  We pride ourselves on giving accurate, detailed information to families looking to sell or consign these collections. We also work with experienced collectors and even card shop owners looking to liquidate collections.

Do you buy collections?

Absolutely!  Please submit an inquiry form above with information about your cards available for purchase.

Where should I ship my cards?

Please do not ship us any cards until you have confirmed with us that your collection fits with our auctions. Not all cards are suitable for consignment. We don’t want you to go through the effort of packing up and mailing your cards, only to have us send them back.  If we do have to send back unsolicited cards, you will be charged the cost of shipping.

How will I monitor my auctions?

Once your cards are listed, you will receive log-in information for our consignor portal. From there, you will be able to see activity on your cards.

What is your policy on shill bidding?

Shill bidding is expressly prohibited on our auctions.  Shill bidding occurs when consignors bid on their own auctions, or ask friends and family to bid on their auctions.  If we discover evidence of shill bidding, consignors will be banned from ever sending cards to us again.  There is no excuse for ever bidding on your own auction.

I recently inherited collectible sports cards.  How can I get a fair price for them?

We know it can be very challenging to dispose of collectible sports cards when inherited from a loved one.  Because we sell our consigned cards at auction, you do not need to be concerned about whether you are getting a fair price.  The market will decide the value.  We will discuss with you before you send us any cards whether they have enough value to auction.  It does not benefit us to take cards we can't sell.

Can you give me more details about what kinds of cards you take on consignment?

We sell vintage star cards like Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Carl Yastrzemski, Hank Aaron, Pete Rose and all other vintage collectible star cards.  We also have great success in selling common cards from all sets and brands, including Topps, O-Pee-Chee, Bowman, Fleer, Philadelphia Football, T-206, T-205, Goudy, and Play Ball.  We are always happy to discuss selling other items as well, such as exhibit cards and autographed cards (with certification by a trusted authenticator only).
